In this video Jason Spangler, Rapid RH Product Specialist walks you through the changes made to the concrete moisture Relative Humidity testing standard ASTM F2170.
The Rapid RH® 4.0 has been replaced with the Rapid RH® L6.
Jason explains the reasons for the changes to the standard resulting in the latest version F2170-11. Several changes were cited as necessary to ensure the manufacturers of concrete relative humidity in-situ tests are creating a product that will help ensure the most accurate readings.
Fortunately for all Rapid RH test users they have already been a couple of steps ahead of this change in that the Rapid RH already complied with the new standard minus a few minor adjustments.
